It’s about door – yesterday and Today

Yesterday……….

Yesterday as usual, after fetching kids from their kindy, we headed home. Afriena aka the sprinter ran faster than others while me went to shop to get magazine. Need something to read.It’s help me release my stress.So what with the door??? yep it elevator… Afriena went in first and not waiting for us. She was in the elevator all alone. The most nervous is my son, he said Afriena lost. Thank god, Afriena know which floor and which unit we live. But she cried loud out…hahha maybe she still scared but I could say she’ s smart. Just lucky, our apartment is guarded and everybody knows my kids.

Today………

worst thing ever happen to another door.Main door, I went in first and Afriena close the door while guys still outside. know what happened??? The door was stuck. can’t even open from in or outside….we spent almost an hour to open the door. With husband help (yep I am not handy woman), I manage to open the door. it was so funny that I don’t know how to take out the door knob, don’t know which is which is screwdriver but my own tool helped. I just use my own screw driver. Managed to cook simple dinner , Ikan Percik and fried long bean. During dinner, husband said ” you need to know how to bertukang” Yep, he’s right in case it’ happen when he’s not around

Resepi Ikan Kembung Percik

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 ekor ikan kembung
  • santan satu kotak
  • 7 ulas bawang merah – kisar
  • 2 ulas bwang putih -kisar
  • 1 inci halia- kisar
  • 2 btg serai – kisar
  • 1 tsp serbuk lada hitam
  • sedikit garam dan gula
  • asam keping

METHOD

  • Panaskan Santan
  • masukkan bahan kisar dan asam keping
  • rasakan dgn garam , gula dan serbuk lada hitam
  • masak hingga pecah minyak
  • bila kuah  masak, bakar ikan sehingga 3/4 masak
  • bila 3/4 masak, lumurkan kuah percik semasa membakar, supaya kuah dia meresap dalam isi ikan.
  • bila dah masak, hidang dengan kuah percik.

10th Ramadhan

On the 10th of Ramadhan, we had the special dishes from PAHANG which were The Famous Ikan Patin Masak Tempoyak and Ayam Goreng Bende Berlada.

The ikan patin is the ORIGINAL ikan patin bought from tepi Sungai Pahang, Temerloh during our trip back from Cherating. This is not the ordinary RM4.50 per kilo ikan patin which you can buy any wet market in Klang Valley. This ikan patin we bought it RM12 per kilo fresh from the Sungai Pahang and it was freshly caught.

Then we turn the ikan patin into this:

As for the side dish, we have tha Ayam Goreng Bende Berdala……
