Resepi Asam Pedas Ikan Merah

INGREDIENTS

  • enough ikan merah
  • 10 pcs of dried chili
  • 7 red shallot
  • 2 clove of garlic
  • 1 inch belacan
  • 1 inch of turmeric
  • 2 stalk of lemon grass – knocked
  • 2 inch of gallangal – knocked
  • 1 bowl tamarind juice
  • 3tbps of cooking oil
  • daun kesum
  • salt , black pepper and ikan bilis granules

METHOD

  • blend chili, shallot,garlic,turmeric and belacan
  • heat oil, fry the paste untill you see the oil floated, add lemon grass and gallangal
  • then add tamarind juice
  • Once boiled, add fish let it boil again then add vegie follow by salt, pepper and ikan bilis granules
  • let it simmer for 10 minute
  • ready to serve

Asam Pedas dengan Belimbing Buluh

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 ekor ikan kerisi
  • 3 biji cili merah
  • 5 biji cili padi
  • 1 inci lengkuas
  • 3 biji bawang merah
  • 1 biji bawah putih
  • 1 inci kunyit
  • belimbing buluh yang kering secukupnya
  • garam dan pati ikan bilis secukupnye
  • 2 cawan air

METHOD

  • tumbuk bawang, cili, lengkuas dan kunyit
  • didihkan bahan tumbuk
  • bila mendidih masukkan ikan dan belimbing buluh kering
  • rasakan garam dan pati ikan bilis
  • renehkan sehingga mendidih
  • sedia untuk dihidang

Note: I tambah sedikit daun kesim to get more umph taste

Baked Salmon

INGREDIENTS

  • Salmon Steak – 2 pcs
  • salt, Dill and Pepper
  • 1/2 of lemon
  • Capsicum – Diced
  • Cherry Tomato – Quatered
  • Onion Diced – steamed
  • 1 tbps of Honey

METHOD

  • Preheat oven for 20 minutes at 200 celcius
  • Season salmon all over with salt, dill and pepper
  • Taste all the cut vegie with salt and pepper
  • Place salmon in baking dish with vegie and bake for 20 minutes
  • then pour some honey on the dish and bake for another 5 minutes
  • Once done, pour or sprinkle with lemon butter sauce
  • to prepare lemon sauce, heat a spoon of butter and add lemon juice untill boiled.
  • Serve with fried pasta.
