Simple noodle soup

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 pcs of chicken breast – sliced
  • 10 pcs of shrimps – cleaned
  • 3 egg
  • some oyster sauce
  • 3 tbps of tomato sauce
  • 3 tbps of chili sauce
  • 3 tbps of soy sauce
  • 2 tbps of cooking oil
  • 1 tbps of mince garlic
  • 4 cups of water
  • vegie – sawi
  • 1 packet of egg noodle

METHOD

  • heat the oil
  • then saute the garlic
  • add chicken follow by water
  • once boiled, add all sauces and taste with salt and pepper
  • then add shrimp, vegie and noodle
  • then knock egg, do not stir and let it cook half
  • off fire then serve with pickles

Simple Chillis ala Sawanila

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup of diced carrot
  • 3 tbsp of chili powder
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 can diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 can of baked bean
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar

METHOD

  • Heat oil in a large, heavy skillet.
  • Cook ground beef ,carrot and onions over medium heat until it is no longer pink.
  • Stir in chili seasoning powder, then add remaining ingredients.
  • Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Serve with whitebread cornbread or crackers or fries.

Finnish Salmon Soup

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 salmon fillet (500 – 600 gr)
  • 1 liters water
  • 2 white potatoes
  • 1 onions
  • 250 cream
  • 1 – 2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp of ground black paper
  • 3 tbs shredded dill
  • 50 gr butter

    METHOD

    • Peel and cube the potatoes.
    • Cut each onion into 4 pieces.
    • Pour water into a saucepan and add the salt, peppers, onions and cubed potatoes.
    • Bring to a boil and allow to simmer at a low heat for approximately 15 minutes.
    • Cube the salmon fillet
    • Add the cream and shredded dill to the saucepan. Place the salmon cube in the soup and boil for approximately 5 more minutes.
    • Add the butter and decorate the soup with some shredded dill.
    • enjoy with garlic bread or white bread
