Kek Pisang

Last weekend, since weren’t going anywhere,so I took the chance to bake a banana cake for Tea. At first I thought of do the baking with Ashraff but he was sleeping..

So here is my simple banana cake but make sure preheat your oven :

INGREDIENTS

  • 1.5 cup of self rising flour
  • 1 cup of mashed banana
  • 0.5 cup of castor sugar
  • 0.5 cup of margarine
  • 1 egg
  • a handful of raisins (I used a small box of lego raisins)
  • a pinch of cinnamon powder
  • 0.25 cup of water (suppose milk but no stock)
  • a tsp of vanilla essence
  • slice of banana for garnishing

Method.

  1. Beat sugar and margarine till soft
  2. add egg continue beating
  3. then add vanilla essence , mashed banana
  4. then flour followed by cinnamon powder, then water and raisins
  5. done beating, pour into baking pan, put few drops of ribena syrups
  6. start baking for 45 mins in 175 degree.

Done baking, Ashraff and Afriena woke up and they enjoyed 2 pieces of banana cake

Acar Kobis

INGREDIENTS

  • purple cabbage – sliced
  • carrot
  • beijing cabbage-sliced
  • 3 tbps of vinegar
  • 3 tbps of sugar
  • 1/2 cup of water
  • half of big onion- sliced

METHOD

Mix vinegar, sugar and water with all the vegie. keep refrigerate for 0.5 hour then serve.

Kangkung Goreng Kunyit

INGREDIENTS

  • Kangkung – 300g
  • 10 prawn
  • 1 big onion – sliced
  • 2 clove of garlic – sliced
  • 1tsp turmeric powder
  • 1tsp salt
  • 2 tbps oil

METHOD

  • cut kangkung nicely
  • heat oil, sate garlic and onion till fragrance
  • then add prawn, turmeric and salt
  • stir till prawn turn red
  • then add kangkung, stir it on big fire for few minutes
  • off fire , ready to serve
