Daging Masak Kicap

This is my favourite but seldom cook as my hubby has to control his beef intake.So yesterday meal was awesome to me as I missed beef so much.
Recipe as below

  • a nice part of beaf – I used sirloin, sliced
  • 1 big US Potato-wedged
  • some cooking Oil
  • 1 cinammon stick, 3 cadammon, star anise

Ingredient A~ mix them well

  • 3 tbps of chili paste
  • 3 tbps of onion paste
  • 1tsp of garlic paste
  • 1tsp of ginger paste

Ingredient B

  • Soy sauce aka Kicap
  • 1 tbps of tamarind paste – mix with a cup of water
  • salt to taste

Method

Heat the oil, fry the herbs till fragrance and add ingredient A, stir till fragrance then add beef, stir, add tamarind water, soy sauce. boil them. then add potato wedges.cover the pot wait untill the potato cook then taste with salt.then serve with rice.

Steak Ala Sawanila

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 pieces of steak slice – sirloin
  • 1 tsp of salt
  • 1 tsp of black pepper seed
  • 1/2 tsp of rosemary
  • 3 tsp of olive oil

METHOD

  • pound black pepper seed with rosemary, salt and olive oil
  • season the meat with the pounded paste
  • Heat the pan grill
  • start the grilling for 10 minutes.
  • Once cooked , rest the cooked meat for 5 minutes then served with favourite sauce. (I use worcestershiire steak sauce )

mashed potatoes

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 1/2 of mash potato
  • 1 tsp of butter
  • salt and pepper to taste

METHOD

  • blend all of them

Serve steak with mashed potato and sweet corn.

Home Made Steak

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 pieces of steak slice – sirloin or terderloin
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tsp of olive oil

METHOD

  • season the meat with black pepper and salt.
  • Heat the pan grill start the grilling for 10 minutes.
  • Once cooked , rest the cooked meat for 5 minutes then served with mushroom sauce which I got from McCormick.
