I started to collect old coins and notes since I was in standard 4 (1984)&#8230; It started when my late father gave me a few old coins&#8230; I don&#8217;t really know how he got those coins from&#8230;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: medium ridge #000000; margin: 5px;\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sawanila.com\/v10\/images\/stories\/blog\/2009\/02\/duitlama\/dl-collections-coins.jpg\" alt=\"dl-collections-coins\" width=\"400\" height=\"267\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">These are my old coins collections and most of them are<strong> Straits Settlements Coins<\/strong>. I know that most of you don&#8217;t even knew that those days we have half a cent, three quarter cent, or even quarter cent. From what I was told by my late grandfather, quarter a cent those days can buy food a whole family for a day. huh!!!&#8230;.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Lets go and have a look deeper&#8230;.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: medium ridge #000000; margin: 3px;\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sawanila.com\/v10\/images\/stories\/blog\/2009\/02\/duitlama\/dl-1801-3q-a.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"240\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: medium ridge #000000; margin: 3px;\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sawanila.com\/v10\/images\/stories\/blog\/2009\/02\/duitlama\/dl-1801-3q-b.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"240\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">This is the most valuable coins.. an <strong>1801 Queen Victoria Straits Settlements three quarter cent coin<\/strong>. The most yang paling I sayang.. and the age is<strong> 200++ years<\/strong> old already&#8230;&#8230;There is something weird with this coin. The info what I&#8217;ve read from the history book stated that the <strong>Straits Settlements was formed in the year 1826<\/strong>&#8230; but the coin stated there 1801&#8230;. so I really need a Pakar Sejarah to study on this&#8230;. anybody&#8230;???
