Feel free to read&#8230;..<em>just click the image down here<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sawanila.com\/v10\/images\/stories\/sawatalks\/2009\/08\/h1n1\/adivsoryforpatientse_img_0.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" \/><\/p>\n<hr id=\"system-readmore\" \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">When you are unwell with Influenza-like illness (ILI), practise the following:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #ff00ff;\">Be socially responsible<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Stay at home and rest<\/strong>. Drink plenty of clear fluids like water and clear soups to prevent dehydration.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sawanila.com\/v10\/images\/stories\/sawatalks\/2009\/08\/h1n1\/adivsoryforpatientse_img_1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Minimise physical contact<\/strong> with others including household members.<br \/>\n<strong>Keep yourself in a room separate from the common areas <\/strong>of the house, use a separate toilet and avoid having meals with others.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sawanila.com\/v10\/images\/stories\/sawatalks\/2009\/08\/h1n1\/adivsoryforpatientse_img_2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Wear a mask even when at home<\/strong> to avoid transmission to household members. Dispose your used mask in a plastic bag, tie it up and throw it into a covered rubbish bin. Wash your hands thoroughly after disposal of the used mask.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sawanila.com\/v10\/images\/stories\/sawatalks\/2009\/08\/h1n1\/adivsoryforpatientse_img_3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>If you need to go out, wear a surgical mask.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sawanila.com\/v10\/images\/stories\/sawatalks\/2009\/08\/h1n1\/adivsoryforpatientse_img_4.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In addition, you should also:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Avoid close contact with other people.<\/li>\n<li>Avoid taking public transport.<\/li>\n<li>Avoid attending large meetings or visiting crowded places.<\/li>\n<li>Refrain from air travel if possible.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sawanila.com\/v10\/images\/stories\/sawatalks\/2009\/08\/h1n1\/adivsoryforpatientse_img_5.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Special care should be taken to avoid the following groups of persons who are at high risk of developing Influenza-related complications:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Children &lt; 5 years<\/li>\n<li>Pregnant women<\/li>\n<li>Have underlying medical conditions such as asthma, chronic lung disease, heart disease, diabetes or kidney disease<\/li>\n<li>On dialysis<\/li>\n<li>On immunosuppressants<\/li>\n<li>Undergoing cancer treatment<\/li>\n<li>On long-term aspirin therapy<\/li>\n<li>Persons aged 65 years and older<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sawanila.com\/v10\/images\/stories\/sawatalks\/2009\/08\/h1n1\/adivsoryforpatientse_img_6.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #ff0000;\">Observe good personal hygiene<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Cover your mouth and nose with tissue paper when coughing or sneezing. Dispose the used tissue paper in the rubbish bin properly.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sawanila.com\/v10\/images\/stories\/sawatalks\/2009\/08\/h1n1\/adivsoryforpatientse_img_7.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Wash your hands every time you touch your nose, mouth or eyes.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sawanila.com\/v10\/images\/stories\/sawatalks\/2009\/08\/h1n1\/adivsoryforpatientse_img_8.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Maintain good indoor ventilation.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Wash\/wipe surfaces<\/strong> soiled with sputum, phlegm, nose discharge or vomit with 1:50 diluted household bleach (i.e. adding 1 part of bleach to 50 parts of water) immediately.
