Yang penting dapat masak, dapat cabar diri sendiri dalam kemelut masak yang penuh tekanan. Alhamdulillah dapat masak dengan tenang dan berjaya menang. \u00a0Kali ini,\u00a0BEST HOME COOK CONTEST 2016 menggunakan tema ubi kentang &#8211; US Potato. Jadi peserta perlu menghatar resepi yang kreatif. Pening juga memikirkan idea untuk masak kentang. Perlu lari dari norma hidup. Tak nak masak pie, mousaka, bergedil, sup kentang dan kari kentang. Jadi saya cari idea dalam google. Alhamdulillah dapat idea. Aloo Tokri adalah asalanya dari bahasa hindi, maksud Aloo ialah ubi kentang, Tokri maksud dia bakul.. Tidak pernah rasa, atau tengok depan mata&#8230;tapi what the heck? apa salah nya mencuba kan.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Date: 22<sup>nd<\/sup> October 2016<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Time: 9:30am -12pm<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Venue: Starhill Culinary Studio, Kuala Lumpur<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Seperti yang dijanjikan, kami sekeluarga pergi menuju ke tempat yang ditetapkan. Baru saya tahu, Yang dipilih adalah cuma 6 orang dan kami semua sudah kira menang RM500 sebagai hadiah saguhati. Nasib baik datang sebab ingatkan malas nak datang masak. Sebab macam tak yakin dengan resepi yang saya cipta. Hanya menggunakan 5 bahan termasuk ubi kentang kiranya amatlah susah jugaknah. Aloo Tokri , kalau di ikutakan memerlukan banyak bahan. Ada 2 -3 jenis chutney dalam bakul. Susah jugak. Jadi saya amik senang&#8230; dalam bakul tu kena ada rasa rempah sebab dia perlu ada rasa india, rasa masam jadi saya gunakan corriendar chutney yang ada rasa masam dari lemon, dan rasa manis pula , saya gunakan caramelised onion. Ni kira jadi macam fusion lah. Masa 45 minit singkat untuk saya sebab nak kena buat tokri aka bakul dari kentang, lepas tu kena bakar. But I like the pressure. Harapan saya masa tu, jangan juri muntah heheheh sebab saya sendiri tak sempat rasa. Tapi bila dah nak balik sempat ambil satu bakul, untuk suami rasa. Dia kata sedap, full of indian flavours and my husband tidak menunjukkan rasa nak muntah atau pitam.
