Agaknya…inilah yang dikatakan sehati sejiwa kot. I memang dah pikir nak buat nasi aya, je berbuka karang. Tapi still as usual akan tanya husband nak makan apa petang karang. Dia pun cakap, apa kata buat nasi ayam? aiikk macam mana tau ni??? So sukalah hati buat nasi ayam, kena lah masak lebih nasi takut tak cukup. almaklum, nasi berperisa ni bebudak suka.

Ni rupa ayam bakar madu.Kulit ayam yang berkaramel dan isi ayam yang juicy.tabur dengan daun ketumbar siram dengan kicap istimewa.

Ni rupa dia… nasi mesti pakai beras wangi, masak kena ada daun pandan baru wangi. Sorrylah, yang nak kena puji, since dah pandai masak nasi ayam, dah jarang dah kiterang beli nasi ayam kat luar.

Nasi ayam,  simple dan sedap. Insya’ Allah kalau ada rezeki untuk buka kedai makan, nasi ayam ni akan jadi satu menu. Tapi mana nak cari modal???

Nasi Ayam Tomato

Last Week punya masakan hari ni  baru nak hapdet. Malas betul kan.. Actually bukan malas.. tapi bz dengan anak.Bila dah kesekolah baru nak boleh ngadap pc. Once budak berdua tu balik nak layan dorang lagi and time tu jugak baby merengek. TIme tulah nak sembahyang time tulah budak 2 orang tu nakberak mandi kencing makan semualah. Ingat jadi housewife tak bz? Stress lagi banyak dari dok opis. Cuma short term stress kalau opis long term stress but comes with big money.

Merapu plak kan…. ha ni nasi ayam tomato nak tunjuklah kan. Cam biasalah sisuami before gi kerja main order je nak makan apa… Dia cakap nak makan nasi ayam tapi dalam hati kecilku teringin nak nasi tomato. Kang buat nasi tomato cam derhaka plak kan.. so I buat nasi ayam tomota. Nak resepi??? sat noooo tengok bawah. Well Buat nasi ni pekena dengan ayam bakar madu and sup. Kalaulah dapat makan dengan ayam masak merah perrrrrhhh.. Tapi Ashraff suka plak nasi tomato ni.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups os fragrance rice – washed
  • 1 screwpine leaf
  • 2 spoon of tomato puree
  • a tsp of mince garlic
  • 1 anise star and 2 caddamon
  • 2 cups of chicken stock
  • 1 tbps of margarine

METHOD

  • heat the margarine
  • then saute garlic with anise star and caddamon
  • add the tomato puree and screwpine leaf (daun pandan)
  • then add chicken stock.
  • once the stock ready and cooled, cook the rice with stock las usual.

Sorry dalam bahasa orang putih, copy paste dari posting lama. Ayam tu plak , I bakar dengan madu, kicap, and bawang putih for 30 minutes. Jangan lama sangat nanti kering tak sedap.Kalau nak resepi ayam putih click SINI and kalau nak resepi sup kaki ayam click SINI

Lagi-lagi Nasi Ayam

Semalam dah masak Nasi Ayam…. hari ni pon masak sekali lagi Nasi Ayam… esok kalu makan Nasi Ayam lagi dah kira melampau la tu…  Siapa yang tengok mesti terbawak sampai ke mimpi punye..

Cuba tengok ayam bakar nih.. memang empuk dan sungguh menyelerakan.. sesiapa yang terpandang mesti akan mengidam punye…

Yang nih plak.. sup bebola ikan… kalu Ashraff.. separuh mangkuk tu untuk dia sorang aja…

Ni plak.. Ayam Kukus.. sesuai untuk orang yang nak turunkan berat badan……

Let’s Talk About Nasi Ayam

Most of us love Nasi Ayam or Chicken Rice…. There are a lot of varieties that are available for Nasi Ayam such as Nasi Ayam Hainan, Nasi Ayam Kampung, Nasi Ayam Berlada, Nasi Ayam Berempah, Nasi Ayam Madu and Nasi Ayam What So Ever!….

The most important thing about Nasi Ayam is the RICE and the AYAM (Chicken)… The rice is the main factor for a good Nasi Ayam… The rice must be moist and not dry.. on top of that, the rice must have the taste of the chicken stock plus the aroma… What I want to highligh here is, a good Nasi Ayam you can eat only the rice without any other add on.

Secondly, the AYAM or the chicken must be perfect. The chicken must be soft and juicy… without that.. please don’t call it Nasi Ayam.

Besides all that, the soup and sambal also give an extra credit for a good Nasi Ayam.

Sometime I do eat Nasi Ayam from the stalls or restaurant an I found that these are the common failure that kicked my appetite off:

  • The rice are too dry… still acceptable but still can eat la…..
  • The rice are not well cooked. (mentah) – potong steam betol yang ni
  • The chicken are too dry…
  • The chicken are too hard…sometime can’t even chew the chicken…
  • The chicken no taste at all… forget it…
  • Too much MSG (ajinomoto) in the soup.. it will make me feel thirsty

Sometime I feel that I’m not getting what I’m paying for….

Nowadays, the price of Nasi Ayam has gone up like the price of fuel also… Last time I can get a nasi ayam for RM2.50 only but now the price has shoot up to RM4 per plate (stall) and for the good nasi ayam like the Hainan restaurant it cost you more than RM10 per plate….

hehehhehe….. this is the last part….. I’ve so much of complaints about nasi ayam and I ask my wife to cook nasi ayam for me la…. so these are the standards that I’m looking at right now for a good nasi ayam…..

I’ve not tried it yet when I uploaded thiese pics and update this blog… sure the taste is fantastic…. best in town….. kalah nasi ayam hainan bukit bintang punye… thanks to mama for the meal….
