The Celebration…

Yesterday, right after the gathering kat Kizsport… cepat=cepatlah kiterang lari ke JJ kat bawah. I told Kheirul aka the busiest Photographer, Papa,mama nak cook Lasagna tonite as for the Nuffnang Friso Family Day Out Grand Prize Celebration

So , here you go the Lasagna…hot! hot! baru keluar from oven… tak sempat nak snap dah lesap. I puji sendiri la.. sedap la… so sapa nak rasa kena lah datang ok…

Alhamdulillah……Praised to GOD!!..

We are going to Disneyland Hong Kong… Thank you to Nuffnang and Friso for selecting our posting as the Grand Prize Winner for the Nuffnang Friso Brings My Family Out contest…..

We had a very good and enjoyable time just now during the Nuffnang Friso Family Day out @ Kizsports & Gym One Utama. The event was a triple thumbs ups… The children were having a such a good time esp during the magic show performed by Mr. Banana. To other bloggers.. you still have a chance to win a 32 inch LCD tv…..

Don’t worry.. we will buy 15 fridge magnets from Hong Kong to give away… Again.. Thank you Nuffnang and Friso…

Bala Chalet Cameron Highland

HI you all… ni saja nak share Chalet yang kiterang duduk masa pergi Cameron Highland last April…. mana tau kot kot you all plan nak pi sana…

The chalet not bad sbb very stylish with colonial style. 4 of us pergi sana for 2 nights. Room rate was RM600 for 2 nights sbb kiterang amik Family suite. Tak boleh…. budak dah besar tak boleh share bilik.So It has 1 Queen bed and 2 singles bed. no aircond (tak payah sbb sejuk giler). FYI, toilet dia bersih ok.some more toilet dgn shower separate.

Let’s Talk About Nasi Ayam

Most of us love Nasi Ayam or Chicken Rice…. There are a lot of varieties that are available for Nasi Ayam such as Nasi Ayam Hainan, Nasi Ayam Kampung, Nasi Ayam Berlada, Nasi Ayam Berempah, Nasi Ayam Madu and Nasi Ayam What So Ever!….

The most important thing about Nasi Ayam is the RICE and the AYAM (Chicken)… The rice is the main factor for a good Nasi Ayam… The rice must be moist and not dry.. on top of that, the rice must have the taste of the chicken stock plus the aroma… What I want to highligh here is, a good Nasi Ayam you can eat only the rice without any other add on.

Secondly, the AYAM or the chicken must be perfect. The chicken must be soft and juicy… without that.. please don’t call it Nasi Ayam.

Besides all that, the soup and sambal also give an extra credit for a good Nasi Ayam.

Sometime I do eat Nasi Ayam from the stalls or restaurant an I found that these are the common failure that kicked my appetite off:

  • The rice are too dry… still acceptable but still can eat la…..
  • The rice are not well cooked. (mentah) – potong steam betol yang ni
  • The chicken are too dry…
  • The chicken are too hard…sometime can’t even chew the chicken…
  • The chicken no taste at all… forget it…
  • Too much MSG (ajinomoto) in the soup.. it will make me feel thirsty

Sometime I feel that I’m not getting what I’m paying for….

Nowadays, the price of Nasi Ayam has gone up like the price of fuel also… Last time I can get a nasi ayam for RM2.50 only but now the price has shoot up to RM4 per plate (stall) and for the good nasi ayam like the Hainan restaurant it cost you more than RM10 per plate….

hehehhehe….. this is the last part….. I’ve so much of complaints about nasi ayam and I ask my wife to cook nasi ayam for me la…. so these are the standards that I’m looking at right now for a good nasi ayam…..

Bulan Hijrah

Sekarang ni ramai antara kita dah tak tahu bulan Hijrah.. bila ditanya tahun Hijrah sekarang.. semua ternganga aja… termasuk ler saya sendiri kekadang tu dah tak ingat tahun Hijrah + bulan-bulan Hijrah…

So semalam, dengan kelebihan yang Allah S.W.T bagi.. saya pon download ler satu scripts dari internet untuk convertkan bulan Masihi kepada Hijrah…. pas tu tampalkan kat Sawanila.com ni….. *kalu korang perasan ler….

Dating ke?

I dating ke??? takdelah , today I ada appointment with Orthopaedic Specialist. So as usual, my husband pergi temankan. Suppose I kena admitted kat spital tu, tapi dengan rayuan and muka sedih so tak masuk la… yela kalau dok spital, sapa nak jaga budak dua orang tu?? Mesti you all tanya kenapa kan??? I menderita sakit pinggang since 2003 but this few days getting serious. He just checked, talked and finally decided for MRI scan for me this Friday.

So Pray for the best for me. so still dating la… go tapau for lunch and eat at home. how nice no disturbance from kiddos

Kueh Akok

Ni la dia namanye Kueh Akok… Kueh ni berasal dari Pantai Timur dan raser kueh akok ni ada skit berbeza di negeri Pahang, Terengganu dan Kelantan tetapi cara pembuatannya dan bahan-bahan nak membuatnya adalah sama.

Kalau nak kira raser Kueh Akok yang paling best yang pernah saya rasa di dunia ni adalah Kueh Akok Mak Wan Beserah.. tapi sekarang ni dia dah arwah dah.. so tak jumpa lagi orang yang boleh lawan keenakkan raser kueh akok dia.

Kat KL saya pernah cuba dua tiga kali…esp masa Bulan Ramadhan yang lepas tetapi mengeciwakan jiwa dan raga bila rase kueh akok orang KL buat…. TAK SEDAP LANGSUNG……

Tetapi kini…. dah jumpa dah tempat yang jual kueh akok ni yang boleh dikatakan SEDAP di KL… Kalau korang pergi ke Restoran MZ kat depan Darul Zakat tu kat Kg Baru tu… ada jual kueh akok yang masih panas lagi… memang berbaloi beli.. rasernya cukop puas hati….harganya pon berpatutan cuma lima posen aja untuk satu biji… apa yang boleh saya katakan disini… The Best Akok in KL but not in the list in my hometown… kakakkakak……

saja je nak tunjuk baju kurung pertama yang I jahit. and this is for myself… nak pakai bila pun tak tahu sbb everyday I go to work, I pakai Jeans je. And for terompah yang I jahit, Will blog it soon.

Oh ya, anybody interested to buy a sewing Machine? You may contact me. The Janome 2049 berharga RM2499 and it comes with books and sewing class for a year.I will blog about the machine soon.

Fish Farm Restaurant di Langkawi

Hi You all …

Apa khabar hari ni… today is Friday, tommorrow will be Saturday.

Today, I nak buat review pasal makan makan kat Langkawi.

Langkawi Fish Farm Restaurant.

FYI, kat restoran ni, kalau pi sana, you all boleh mancing aka mengail ikan. pas mancing boleh pass kat chef kat dapur suruh dia masak, nak masak apa refer kat menu.Cam mana nak pi, tengok dalam peta…tak sesat nye sbb pusing pusing kat situ jugak

But we all satu family no pancing pancing, lapar sesangat tak leh tunggu . sesapa yang interested nak mancing, aktiviti memancing start from 11am till 6pm.
berapa kena bayo I tak tahu, lupe nak tanya.

So masa kiterang pi jamu selera kat sana… ni lah lauk yang kiterang makan

Siakap Kukus aka Steames Seabass -Cantonese Style

Kalau tanya berapa bintang, I kasi 3 bintang from 5 bintang sbb rasa dia very light, maybe sbb cantonese style. but ikan tu mmg maveles la dengan kefreshan dia. apa tak nye kiterang pi tangkap dlm akuarium dia.
For steam menu, ada byk syle, Thai style, hot and spicy and bla bla but we choose cantonese style because our kiddos tak makan pedas. kalau termakan pedas confirm kena panggil bomba.The cantonese style, dia masak with light soya sauce, ginger and garlic. Tapi i rasa I masak lagi sedap la.

MUST HAVE menu sbb feveret. sedap, cicah ngan thai sauce

Sweet Sour Crab

This sweet sour crab tak macam yang I masak la… of course sedap yang I masak ok… The sweet sour is light taste. But I tak kisah sbb ketam punya pasal and very fresh, apa tak nye kiterang tangkap dalam akuarium. Tapi kalau dia lebihkan ginger lagi sedap
Kailan Ikan Masin

Biasa je… very crunchy and the ikan masin mmg terasa.. We all like lagipun kterang satu family spesis suka makan sayur.

Total price is, RM150++ inc 4 watermelon jus yang pekat, 4 pinggan nasi and appetiser. Kat situ ada jugak lobster, but not ordered it. Rege dia dalam 50-100 sekilo.Tapi kepuasan makan bersama keluarga is priceless… tengok la muka kiterang tgk makanan!!
